yeah there are just a few bare spots on the wheels - lol just kidding.

yeah i'm totally with ya on the return - that's why i hate the idea too. Its like a big loop.

but like you say, for the amount i'll drive the car it should be ok

i'll try it out, and if it sucks - i'll reroute it up top

Couldn't you do it returnless?

i think returnless is about the same or maybe worse? cause the fuel deadheads and heats up near the injectors. this way i at least have some flow, just not as much as returning to a full tank.

not a big fan of how people run the fuel return on bugs, but it saves having to cut a hole in a 'valuable' tank. Theres a company that sells a tee fitting that treads onto the stock bung for 45 bucks, but for much much less i tapped the bung inside of 1/4 NPT and treaded in an AN tee

one side is feed to pump, other side is return.

Does this fitting only have one passage inside, to draw fuel in?

Then again, you're not running anything real crazy and its going to be a street cruiser, it should be fine.
Yeah, isn't this just a big deadhead setup with it in constant circulation?

Why not just run a separate pickup and return, plumbed the same way?

If he ran a feed and return he'd have to modify the tank which is really expensive and hard to replace (the tank). This is a '54 bug after all lol

Ok, so run the return through the filler cap.

I mean it's just a return, it should work just fine.

Every time I see this car, it just doesn't look real. Like it's made of plastic or something. That's it! Like a model toy kit car!
3 12" W6's must have hurt..
